Energy efficiency analysis of coal-to-ethylene glycol distillation process based on exergy analysis

Abstract The exergy analysis method is an important for evaluating energy levels and efficiency. It of great importance in the direction process efficiency optimization. In this paper, use coal-to-ethylene glycol distillation comprehensively evaluated analyzed using. Firstly, based on Aspen Plus simulation, basic data were obtained; secondly, a detailed results showed that deethylene unit was lowest, loss reboiler highest. can be improved by appropriately changing operating conditions such as feed position, reflux ratio extraction de-glycol unit.
